An Industrial Visit to Current Electro Mech Private Limited, Erode was organized on 25.09.2026 for the students of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department to provide them with valuable industrial exposure and practical learning opportunities.

The visit provided the students with valuable hands-on industrial knowledge, technical exposure, and an understanding of workplace practices. It served as an informative and enriching learning experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Seminar on Computer Vision and AI-Based Image Processing

Our Department successfully organized a seminar on "Computer Vision and AI-Based Image Processing". The session was delivered by the Chief Guest, Prof. P. Sugavaneshwari, M.E., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Salem.

The seminar introduced students to concepts such as image recognition, object detection, image classification, facial recognition, and real-time image analysis.

It helped students understand the practical applications of AI and encouraged them to explore the growing opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Image Processing.

Industrial Visit to Odugaatech Pvt. Ltd.

On September 29, 2026, students from the Department of Computer Engineering at The Kavery Polytechnic College undertook an educational industrial visit to Odugaatech Pvt. Ltd.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into emerging technologies and witnessed live demonstrations of innovative IoT projects.

Industrial Visit to SINTEX-BAPL Limited, Namakkal

An Industrial Visit to SINTEX-BAPL Limited, Namakkal, was organized on 08.09.2026 for the students of the Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Fire & Safety Engineering Departments.

The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to the manufacturing process of water storage tanks, including raw material handling, moulding, processing, quality inspection, and finished-product handling.

The students gained practical knowledge about modern manufacturing techniques, quality control, and industrial safety practices. The visit was an informative and enriching learning experience, enabling students to understand the practical applications of their academic knowledge in an industrial environment.

A seminar on “Nutraceuticals – A Novel Healing Path” was conducted by the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) on 24.08.2026, providing students with valuable insights into the emerging role of nutraceuticals in health, wellness, and disease prevention.

The session was led by Dr.G. Harisankar, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Sri Moogambigai Arts & Science College for Women. The seminar highlighted the significance of nutraceuticals in modern healthcare, their therapeutic potential, and their growing importance in preventive medicine.

Building an Electric Two-Wheeler from Concept to Customer

The seminar on "Building an Electric Two-Wheeler from Concept to Customer" was conducted by the Department of EEE and Chemical Engineering at The Kavery Polytechnic College, Mecheri. Our Secretary Prof. S.K. Elangovan sir honored the chief guest Mr. S. Soundarajan, Vice President of Numeros Motors, and he delivered the concept of an electric two-wheeler to the students.

The chief guest explained the major components used in an electric vehicle, the design and development process, the prototype development and testing, safety, certification, and customer requirements to the students.

Drug Awareness Rally - Say No to Drugs

A Drug Awareness Rally was conducted by The Kavery Polytechnic College Anti-Drug Committee in association with the NSS, Rotaract, and YRC Clubs of our institution at M. Kalipatty, Mecheri.

The rally aimed to create awareness among the public and especially youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society.

A Drug Awareness Pledge was conducted by The Kavery Polytechnic College. The students gathered to learn about the dangers of substance abuse and collectively commit to a drug-free lifestyle.

The Pledge aimed to educate youth on the physical, psychological, and social impacts of narcotics, and to foster a collective social responsibility to eradicate drug abuse. The event also aimed to create awareness among the students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society.
